Try these instead of the usual crackers with chowders or soups.
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg, beaten
2 tablespoons milk, or more
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Combine cheese, flour, baking powder, and salt. Add egg and milk to make a stiff dough. Roll out 1/4 inch thick on floured board. Cut into thin strips 4 to 5 inches long. Place on greased baking sheet and bake 10 minutes.
