one of the best cookie recipes I have found using both Molasses and Oatmeal.
1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour*
1 cup Quaker
1.In medium bowl, combine flour, oats, baking soda, spices and salt; mix well. In large bowl, combine brown sugar, margarine, applesauce, molasses and egg; mix until well blended. Add dry ingredients; mix well. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour.
Heat oven to 375°F. Lightly spray cookie sheets with cooking spray. Place 1/2 cup granulated sugar in small dish. Shape dough into 1-inch balls; roll in sugar. Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheets. Bake 7 to 9 minutes or until tops have crackled. Let cool 2 minutes on cookie sheets; remove to wire rack. Cool completely. Store tightly covered.
