I invented this recipe after tasting it and guessing what went in it.
1 to 1 1/2 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts.
Italian flavored bread crumbs
any Chardonay wine
Meunster cheese
Bread the chicken using the Italian flavored bread crumbs and an egg so the crumbs stick to the chicken.
Bake at 350 for half the time (about 15 minutes). At that time add wine to the pan to cover the chicken about half way up the sides of the chicken. (roughly a glass of wine will do)
Cover the chicken entirely with Meunster cheese and cook the remaining time. Cheese will start to brown and melt.
Goes best with a nice mild rice dish and green vegetable like French cut green beans.
