1 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon italian seasoning
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 eggs
2/3 cup milk
1 pound ground beef, sausage, or thinly sliced pepperoni
1/4 cup pizza sauce
1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
4-ounce can muchrooms, pieces and stems, drained
In a medium skillet brown ground mest with seasonings to taste. Drain well and set aside. Lightly grease and dust a 12- or 14-inch pizza pan with flour. Prepare batter by mixing flour, salt, Italian seasoning, pepper, eggs, and milk in a small mixing bowl, Pour batter into pan, tilting pan so batter covers bottom. Arrange topping of meat and onions over batter. Bake on bottom oven rack at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until pizza is deep golden brown. Remove from oven and drizzle with pizza sauce. Sprinkle with cheese, mushrooms and any other desired topping. Return to oven for 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and sauce is bubbly.
