1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1-1/2 cups finely chopped Vidalia onion
1 scallion, chopped
1/2 cup finely chopped fresh mushrooms
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded crabmeat
40 won ton wrappers
oil for deep-frying
In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, onion, scallion, mushrooms, cheese, and crabmeat. Mix well. Spoon a heaping tablespoon of the mixture in the center of a won ton wrapper. Fold over one side, wetting the edges with water to seal. Bend the edges around. Deep-fry until golden brown.
