- Not a bacon fan? Instead, try arranging slices of ham, a few spoonfuls of chunky homemade or jarred tomato sauce, or crispy nests of frozen shredded hashbrowns around the ramekins or muffin cups for an extra-artful presentation.
- A spoonful of sautéed baby spinach and thinly sliced mushrooms is a tasty vegetarian option, while crumbled chorizo or breakfast sausage is sure to satisfy meat-lovers. By swapping out the Parmesan for hearty Cheddar, nutty Gruyère, or tangy goat cheese, the list of possible flavor combinations gets even longer.
