Sock-It-To-Me- Cake
1 box butter-recipe golden cake mix
8 oz. Sour cream
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
4 eggs
FILLING:
1 cup chopped pecans
2 Tbs. Brown sugar
2 tsp. Cinnamon
GLAZE:
1 cup powdered sugar
2 Tbs. Milk
Heat oven to 375. In a large mixing bowl blend together the cake mix,
Sour cream, oil, 1/4 cup sugar, water and eggs. Beat at high speed
For 2 minutes. Pour two-thirds of the batter in a greased and floured
10-inch tube pan. Combine
Filling ingredients and sprinkle over batter in pan. Spread remaining
Batter evenly over filling mixture. Bake for 45 to 55
Minutes, until cake springs back when touched lightly. Cool right
Side up for about 25 minutes, then remove from pan. Make glaze by
Blending powdered sugar and milk, then drizzle over cake.
