This is the dessert we choose to make on very special occasions. It’s fabulous and always makes a big impression, especially when you put it together right at the table. Don’t make it unless you have either fresh strawberries or fresh raspberries.

1 pint French vanilla ice cream
1 cup heavy cream, whipped
4 tablespoons Grand Marnier liqueur
1 quart fresh strawberries or raspberries
Soften the ice cream and fold the whipped cream into it. Add the Grand Marnier. Serve the berries in individual dessert dishes and pour the mixture over them.
