1 tablespoon butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup flour, sifted
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup chopped nutmeats
Cream together the butter and the sugar, then add the eggs, vanilla, and the flour sifted with the baking powder. Stir in the nuts and drop at good intervals on greased cookie sheets. Bake in a moderate (350 degrees F) oven for 12 minutes.
