Begging Eyes

My husband was just finishing his sandwich and put the plate on the table. Maggie (11 years young) came by and saw the last bite of the sandwich. She sat there eyeing the sandwich waiting very patiently. Her eyebrows went up and down repeatedly between my husband and the sandwich. She was staring very hard and wishing the last bite would fall off the plate and into her mouth.
