1 tablespoon olive oil
1 large onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup red wine
1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
1 tablespoon chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Combine and bring to a boil and then simmer (or put in stove – so no splattering)
