This was Renae’s mom’s, Glenda Pettus, recipe.
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
3 Tbsp flour
2 cups milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 Tbsp butter
Dash of salt
Hold back milk, vanilla, and butter.
Stir together all other ingredients and add a little water to start it.
Add milk and stir constantly until thick.
Remove from heat and add butter, and vanilla.
