Driving by Chickawaukee Lake in Rockland/Rockport is always a joy! Route 17 runs along the water’s edge for quite a stretch. There’s even a little parking area where motorists can pull off to enjoy the view, drop a fishing line, or take a photo or two. And that’s exactly what I did!
