Streak Of Sunlight In Autumn

This was taken on East Orange Road, a back country road in East Orange VT on September 20, 2010. It was a partially cloudy day with streaks of sunlight dancing around the hillsides. I decided to park and wait a bit to see what the sunlight would reveal between the passing clouds. Glad I waited and was rewarded with this capture. This is a beautiful little valley and the town itself is very old New England settlement that was chartered in the late 1700’s. Makes you feel like you’ve been whooshed back at least a century in time. So quiet and peaceful.
