New Hampshire photographer Jerry Monkman’s latest work brings his passion for nature and conservation close to home. The images shown here are from the Southeast Land Trust of New Hampshire, based in Exeter, New Hampshire, and the Mt. Agamenticus to the Sea Conservation Initiative, headquartered in Kittery, Maine.
“What I like about both organizations is that they are working on protecting land in the fastest-growing parts of Maine and New Hampshire,” says Monkman. “As someone who lives on the relatively populous New Hampshire Seacoast, I find great joy in visiting places in both areas that can feel as wild as some of the more remote parts of New England.”
