Dan Tobyne has been involved in photography for more than 40 years. He is an artist member of the Marblehead Arts Association, a member of the Griffin Museum of Photography in Winchester, Massachusetts, and his work was featured in the books Boston’s Emerald Necklace, Thoreau’s Cape Cod, and Thoreau’s Maine Woods. He lives with his family in South Hamilton, Massachusetts.
The following images come from his latest book, Scenic Maine Road Trips. The book represents his exploration of the diverse landscape along Maine’s oldest scenic byways from the rocky Down East coastline to the western mountains and northern forest and the rolling farmlands of Aroostook County.
