This April, the award-winning national public television series Weekends with Yankee returns for a seventh season, with 13 episodes that transport viewers nationwide directly to New England, from epic adventures and fun destinations to the region’s most iconic flavors. What is Weekends with Yankee?

Named for the long-running publication enjoyed by readers across America for more than 80 years, the series is a joint effort of Yankee Magazine and public media powerhouse WGBH. Since its premiere in 2016, Weekends with Yankee has traveled throughout New England, transporting viewers nationwide on an insider’s journey to the region’s very best—from captivating scenery, bountiful nature, marine life and wildlife, and breathtaking vistas to signature attractions and the singular secret spots known only to locals.
